A Zone Show is a prestigious banner show that is authorized and supervised by the Hereford Club. Two Zone Shows are held in the Ottawa Valley Hereford Zone each summer. Points won at the Zone shows plus those won at the Mark of Excellence (MOE) Show determine the year's award winners.
One of the popular features of an Ottawa Valley Zone Show is the awarding of Jackpot prizes. The prizes are awarded in several selected classes for a randomly chosen placement in the class. Sometimes, lightning strikes; it is possible to finish last in your class and still leave the ring with a $50 jackpot prize. |
